I am a native of our beautiful state of Colorado and grew up enjoying outdoor activities such as soccer, horseback riding and dirt biking. The search for ways to optimize health for those around me began in my youth, spending countless hours reading and learning how to correlate symptoms to the appropriate therapy. My journey continued years later when I began studies of holistic wellness at Red Rocks Community College, taking interest in religious studies, sociology and nutrition. I completed my studies there with a Certification in Reflexology and as a Holistic Health Practitioner.

I then began my next transition and enrolled in the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and continued my studies over the next several years. This three-year program consists of 2,850 hours of education including
795 hours of clinical practice. My training includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, tui na, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

I graduated with my Master’s of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, I am certified
as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique and Chinese Medicine. I am also a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Colorado.

I have attended continuing education seminars with Si Yuan Balance Method and will be continuing to train in the distal acupuncture methods, brought to notoriety by those such as Dr. Richard Tan and Master Tung. I have also began further training at the Neuro-Acupuncture Institute in Sante Fe, New Mexico. This training is focused in the field of Neuroacupuncture and the treatment of neurological disorders and traumatic brain injuries through scalp acupuncture.
